Student Design Competetions

Student Design Competition (SDC) – 2011

The TTRC Student Design Competition provides a platform for TTRC Student Members to present their solutions to a range of design problems-– from everyday household tasks to groundbreaking space exploration. Each team is required to design, construct and operate a prototype meeting the requirements of an annually determined problem statement.
The Student Design Competition showcases the extraordinary talents of mechanical,Aeronautical,Electronics and Electrical engineering students while encouraging them to develop innovative ideas towards an improved quality of life for all. Each year,TTRCprposes to conduct competitions which will showcase the talents and skills of upcoming engineers .

TTRC FYI Competition

TTRC has invited students from Indian universities to participate in a national competition to develop new ideas for a greener aviation industry.

TTRC is offering a grand prize of Rs.30,000 for winners and Rs.15,000 for runner-ups as part of its ‘Fly Your Ideas’ (FYI) competition.

The biennial contest involves three progressively challenging rounds judged by a panel of industry experts.

“Fly Your Ideas is a unique opportunity for students to be part of TTRC’s vision for an eco-efficient aviation industry of the future. The competition is designed to stimulate ideas for both a more connected and sustainable world..

Students of any age, gender or discipline – from engineering to science; philosophy to design – are invited to take part.

TTRC HVAC Systems Design Competition

For students who have attended TTRC HVAC courses. Focuses on "right-sizing" HVAC equipment and systems to provide an energy-efficient design for the facility. Students are required to determine heating and cooling loads, and design an HVAC system for the office tower while complying with ASHRAE Standards .
